Paisley Atlanta Braves Gameday Sweatshirt

This one's for my Georgia girls... 
 
Watching the Braves win another World Series just got way more fun! This sweatshirt was made with a blue second-hand sweatshirt sourced from a local thrift store, giving it the perfect worn-in, cozy feel we all crave.
The center pennant flag & the #2 comes from a t-shirt
the crocheted granny square is made using acrylic/wool scrap yarn
the ribbon sewn flat uses second-hand ribbon from a second-hand craft supply store in Savannah, Georgia
the Atlanta Braves "A" comes from scrap plush fabric and is super soft to the touch
the stars are cut from scrap cotton & denim fabric, all with different textures
 
My favorite part of this sweatshirt is the quilt block sewn using scrap cotton fabric hand-dyed using natural indigo dye. This is such a fun process to partake in and is one that you never know how it will turn out in the end.
